Slieve Vantage Open Heart Automatic – 41mm

The Slieve Vantage Open Heart is a modern mechanical watch built around one of the most appealing aspects of an automatic movement – being able to see it working.

A large aperture in the dial exposes the oscillating balance of the Seiko Instruments NH39 automatic calibre, providing a constantly moving mechanical focal point without overwhelming the otherwise restrained design.

The 41mm case is manufactured from 316L stainless steel, combining brushed surfaces with polished detailing around the bezel. Its integrated stainless steel bracelet continues the angular lines of the case and is secured by a butterfly clasp for a clean appearance on the wrist.

A 32mm dial gives the Vantage a broad, open appearance, while the high-quality mineral crystal provides clear visibility of the dial and movement beneath.

The Vantage is rated to 5 ATM / 50 metres water resistance, making it suitable for normal everyday wear, although it is not intended as a diving watch.

This watch also represents a small piece of the early history of Slieve Watches. The dial carries the Laois Watch Works logo, used on early builds before the watch range was separated into the Slieve Watches brand. Future production carries Slieve branding, making this LWW-signed example an early-generation Slieve build.

Each Slieve watch is individually assembled, inspected and regulated in County Laois, Ireland.
