Seiko 5 Sports SKX Street Stonewash Automatic 38mm – SRPL79K1

Part of Seiko's New Colour Collection, the SRPL79K1 combines the unmistakable character of the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series with a more compact 38mm case and a distinctive street-inspired colour scheme.

The charcoal-grey dial is complemented by gold-coloured accents on the hands and hour markers, while the black unidirectional rotating bezel gives the watch its classic SKX-inspired sporting appearance.

Inside is Seiko's proven 4R36 automatic movement, offering both automatic and manual winding, approximately 41 hours of power reserve, hacking seconds and a practical day/date display.

The stainless-steel case measures 38mm in diameter and is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet and secure three-fold clasp. Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while Seiko LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes.

A see-through screw caseback provides a view of the automatic movement, while 100 metres of water resistance makes the SRPL79K1 a highly versatile everyday mechanical watch.

With its compact dimensions, understated charcoal colouring and contrasting gold details, the Street Stonewash offers something a little different from the traditional black Seiko 5 Sports.
